it's the holiday season...

1. last night alissa and i put up the christmas decorations!!

alright, the only reason we didn't wait until after t.day was because we wanted them to be up when we got back from the break.

so we BLASTED the christmas tunes {ella!} and danced and sang and decorated!!

{please excuse the horrible quality of the photos...i wanted the christmas lights to be seen with the lights off. and let's just face it--the ol' cannon wants to hit the grave but the ol' check book says no.}

so we just found all of these lights and ornaments and the tree in our little shed thing. i'm going to sneak extra decorations from my house {don't tell mom, dad.}
the tree has yet to be named. but yes, it is crooked. character. charlie brown character.
2. going here today!!!

aka. HOME!

this 20 degrees aint gonna cut it much longer! 75 sounds real good. and it will feel real good in t minus 12ish hours.

{and the girl who checked me out at the library said "oh my gosh i LOVE her" and i said "ME TOO!!" and we shared our love for her and i said "new friend!"}

and now i need to finish this biography, eat breakfast, pack, and shower. 3 hours...ready...GO!

ps...i think this blog might be getting a facelift over the next few days...

i changed my glasses order...different color. don't worry, they will still be fabulous. no more black with blue {blue stone}. now dark brown with green {celery}. and they will be here next week...instead of christmas!!!!!!
